Well after screwing around with my steering box on my 31 Tudor, I have found it's to far gone to adjust. It feels like it's indexing in the center and if I loosen it up to rid the hard spot in the center, ... Whoa, ... she's ALL OVER THE ROAD!

Have play in steering while driving, everything seems to be tight as far as kingpin and tie rod. The top of steering box does not have a screw in nut to adjust. How do you tighten steering box?

    Steering problem
    by Catfish68
I am a new member as of today. I have a question regarding my 1929 Model A. I installed a F-100 steering box and hooked the stock pitman arm to it. I can not turn the wheels, should I have put a short pitman arm on in place of the stock one?
    Thank for any help,
    Catfish
