  • WTB KR Wilson Spring Shackle Tool

I would like to replace the shackles on my 1933 Ford. If anyone has the correct tool and would like to sell it, I would be interested in buying it.

Doug 845 WELCOME to the VFF!!

I'm not sure there is a correct tool for removing and replacing the shackles, but you will need a spring spreader.
You wana look waaay far up da road and plan yer route because the brakes are far more of a suggestion than a command!

Also need a bushing driver sold by most vendors. Rod
Much of the social history of the Western world, over the past three decades, has been a history of replacing what worked with what sounded good.

If I can't find the correct tool, I'll buy a large C-Clamp with a squared end that I can use a wrench on. A bushing driver? What vendor should I turn to? What size? I am not familiar with the use of a bushing driver. I will use a porta power to spread the spring. Thank you both for your replies.
