    drag link install, need help

    Just finishing up installing a front axle, king pins, front spring, tie rod, etc. Everything fine until I come to the drag link. Silly huh? Just two ends. Well here is what's happening. I know the drag link has a front end and rear end and I know which is which but it doesn't seem to matter. BTW the drag link is solid steel, not adjustable and it's a new one from Brattons.     Drag link and Pitman

    Put the new guts in my new drag link (from Beauford, Thanks !!) and added my shortened pitman. I learned the Drag Link ends are not identical and my column needs to be adjusted a little tighter. I also installed some needed zerk fittings in my front end assembly. I can finally move the chassis around a lot easier !! I did more sanding at the body shop today and will be painting fenders and splash...
