    Scales for Weighing Parts

I bought these 3 scales a couple weeks ago on ebay. The one on the left is made from cast iron, and has a scales pattern design. It goes up to 300 pounds, and I didn't even know this style spring scale was built so large. I would have thought the pull ring on top would have been welded to lift 300 pounds, but it's open. After buying it I saw another one on ebay that went to 400 pounds.

The center one was made in Germany, and goes to 50 pounds, while the one on the right goes to 25 pounds. They are marked "Not Legal for Retail Trade".
I'm undecided whether to leave them as is, or to restore them, especially the cast iron one.

I think they look great the way they are, thanks for sharing the pics.
Do you think someone changed the hook on the one from Germany and used a nail?
    What circa are they?

I wish I knew how old they are, but one has a patent date of 1894.
The pointed hook on the German scale would be common on meat hooks, and I'm sure it's original.
