        Heaters in your Model A
        by BNCHIEF
How many of you guys have one and how did you set yours up i am curious, pics would be nice I will be working on mine this weekend, I found a water control valve that is electric as I thought this would make a very clean set up. I am trying to avoid putting holes in the firewall as much as possible. My present fuel line is in the way but I can turn the valve and make a new fuel line that will follow...

My heater install in my 1930 tudor
        by BNCHIEF
Here are some pics of the heater I installed in my car it is a 12v neg ground, mounted to a bulkhead plate I built, it uses a 3 speed fan, has a servo controlled 4 port water control valve all of this is inside the car behind the heater. This sets the heater 1.5" below the fuel tank and 3" in from the face of the tank there is adequate foot room under the heater, however I did put in two...

        Bulkhead plate for heater install
        by BNCHIEF
This is the bulkhead plate I made for the heater install I did, it is 3/16ths aluminum I mounted the heater to it because i did not want to poke holes in the firewall and this way I could use the existing holes there to mount this unit, following are some pics I took of the process, I was not able to use the sediment bowl for various reasons threads being just one of the issues.

        It's that time of year
        by BNCHIEF
My car came with an autolite heater and the manifold not sure if the manifold is good, is there a piece of flex pipe that goes between the heater and the door on the firewall.

Also I see a heater is also made for the stock manifold as well, mounting looks a little cheezy to me like it might be a real good vibrating noise maker,

Any small compact water heaters that would work...

With a 180° thermostat and a Vintage Precision outlet neck assembly car will not heat up
        by bettlesr
I have a Vintage Precision housing and a Stant #45358 180° thermostat. Using a mechanical gauge screwed into the spare port on the housing I can not get the water temperature above 150° to 160°. The other port is connected to a remote water heater under the front seat. The air from the heater is warm but not hot. When I had the stock water outlet and an adjustable thermostat in the upper hose the...

        Hose Rack
        by dmdeaton
Ok, I notice goofy things. While looking for my first car the past month I have seen 3 garden hose reels made from Model A spoke rims. Some rusty patina, others painted and nice. How many others on here have one? I am on the search now for a couple rims to make them. One each for the front and back of the house....

        Wood Floor Heater Outlet
        by Tom Wesenberg
Here's something you don't see very often. I'd sure use this before I'd cut a hole in the metal firewall.
I'm going to use a grate in the wood floor along with my hot water heater core and fan.

Strange "ARC" from the Heater Manifold...WTH!!!
        by Mark Maron
My friend John Samp, a member here installed a manifold heater, the repo from Snyders. Well in the "gap" between the firewall and the heater he also installed a flex tube and wrapped in duct foil to secure any outside air, it works great and the same way i hooked mine up, NOW last night he had the car running and weird...He noticed an ARC coming from the heater to the tubbing. Never saw...
