Well, the Post Office Did it Again

I swear the post office has me on their hit list. I have far more packages damaged or lost than arrive in good condition.
I decided to buy some of the ebay items I posted about on here a couple weeks ago. Remember the SUPER POWER battery additive? Well, these were only 200 miles west of me, but they arrived in MPLS two days later, then were sent to North Carolina and back, before they finally came to my house today. I guess turning a 200 mile trip into a 2500 mile trip helps ensure lots more postal damage. The seller just called me and said he'd sell me some more and deliver them himself when he comes to the city to visit his daughter, so I'll take him up on that offer. Monday I'll take these to the post office and try to get paid for insurance, but so far that has never worked.

I think your mail delivery person dislikes you. All the problems you have that is absolutely crazy. Good luck collecting a single cent, but keep us posted anyway on how that works out for you.

I took the damaged box of goods to the post office, and they told me the seller had to apply for the insurance. So the seller told me to keep the damaged goods and he's refund the cost and shipping. He then applied online for the insurance claim, but the post office only refunds the cost of the goods, and NO shipping charges. Now, how stupid is that, since it was the shipping that caused all the damage in the first place.

Got this one in the mail last week. One of the components was bent, another piece was missing. Fortunately, the bent piece was an easy fix and the shipper replaced the missing piece.
