    Branson Meet-Up

I'm sure many of you are planning on attending Branson this year and many will be there for the entire week. Some not, like I. I plan on a day down, a day at the event and a day back. I'd like to meet as many as possible so I was thinking of creating a day and time to have a get-together at the VFF tent before I make my plans. Preferable the day Mitch will be boiling lobster and grilling steaks at his tent would be great but he's keeping that day a secret. A day and time would be great........if that's not possible then I'll be the sugar daddy with babes hanging on to me.

According to the schedule the best evening for a VFF meet is Thursday around 8 ish. During the day on Thursday is the Grand Tour so it would be a nice evening to unwind. The only competing event at that time is some kind of tour and show. All the other evenings would be tough with more popular things going on. The host hotel bar / lounge area has tables and can easily host 100 people. So as of now this is the tentative plan, but all suggestions are welcome. The VFF tent will be set up as well all week long and can be a daily hang out in your spare time.

You can always keep Mitch company at the VFF tent and sign autographs.

Get a bullett proof VFF vest. Or leave Ed in charge and let folks buy the information on his where abouts could pay some bills also.

Nothing to worry about now, I resigned at 9am this morning. I'm going back to enjoying my retirement.

A group, six maybe seven Model A's, are driving up from Austin. Scheduled to arrive Sunday eve. Registered for Monday and Tuesday and leave Wednesday morning. Headed to Natchez Trace and from there Vicksburg for July 4th celebration. Perhaps we will see some of you.

That would be the 'Shepard of the Hills Tour and Show'. It is a live staging based on a late 1800's book about life in the Ozarks. Since the wife has already put a "2" next to it on the registration form in indelible ink I guess I will have to remain faceless and unknown to the VFF crowd. The show features a 1908 DeWitt automobile and she wants to see that DeWitt! Debbie is way more of an antique car nut than I am.

Well Mike looking at the schedule that may be the best time for the evening gig. Now with that being said we have all week to meet and hangout in and around the VFF tent, and wherever else. You will certainly get a chance to meet everyone, it's gonna be a great week

Practice your banjo Ed and you can provide the elevator music at Mitch's tent.
