This "off topic" area is a great spot to air "off topic" stuff and leave the "topic" stuff alone. Clever idea!

I hope you all remember the 78rpm vinyl records.

I have one that is 12in round, has 9in of playing surface and plays for a ½ hour.

How many groves does it have on one side?

If you think you know, PM me first before posting to let the others guess.

A trivia thread!!!!!!!!!!!! So, if a track tread of a tank is moving at 30 MPH on the top, how fast is the bottom tread moving across the ground?

Well, in my reasoning, if it is doing 30mph on top, must be doing 30mph on the bottom.

It's not moving at all, and the tank is moving 15 MPH.
I've asked people before a similar question about what part of a car is not moving, no matter how fast the car is traveling.

Top track going 30 MPH, bottom of the track is not moving. Bottom tank rollers roll over the bottom track by being stationary.

                      by Tom Wesenberg
Things changed, and I couldn't find the OFF TOPIC section until Mitch told me the FORUMS now has a drop down menu, and it's listed there.
I posted this here, just in case someone else gets lost.

                      New topic posting info
                      by Mitch
When posting a NEW (not super highly modified) Model A related topic, It either goes here in the general discussion or the authentic / fine point forum. If it's an authenticity type question then it goes in the AT~ FP forum.
Examples of this are Rusty Nelson's wire loom conduit question or Art Ebling's kick panel question. These are both authentic or original informational type questions....

                      1930 Coupe breaks
                      by Btmo
Well I know this is an old topic but is there a thread here that I could find to help me fix my breaks all around? I thought about just sending my stuff in and get rebuilt replacement backing and all the stuff already done. But I would like to learn how to do it myself just because I like to learn. That is part of enjoyment along with driving it. If there is a thread or specific topic somewhere...
