  • I enjoyed the GoPro films..............

over there...how come no one has posted any here? Did the film makers stay there? I know I'm not edjamakated enough to make any, are the rest of the clientele here the same way, a pure dumbass like I? I have an excuse, too old, can't teach an old dog new tricks, I tried. So?????????????????????????????????? If you don't respond and admit you're as dumb as I, as old as I, then you have no excuse, Mitch does have a shitlist, not many on it....yet!!!!

My daughter bought me a dash cam last year, but I have no clue how to use it, let alone upload it here. I loaned it to a friend of mine, hopefully in the future he can teach me.
For Christmas this year, my wife, Sharon, bought me a drone with HD movie recording as well. I haven't got a clue!
What were they thinking? Hell, I miss my flip phone. Just upgraded to a smarter phone.

I bought a voice recorder, twice as small as a Kit Kat bar, and still haven't got a clue on how to use it. It's back in its box, where it should be, until I find someone that needs it more than I. Flip phones are where I'm at now and don't plan to get any smarter. Pat

I had all the plans to do GoPro videos, got it all and found out it was above my edjamakation level and sold it all off to a forum member here (back then is was there). I still have and use a flippy phone, turn it on when in the car for hands free Bluetooth. There was a time when people would ask me if I had Bluetooth, I'd look in the mirror and smiled and I'd say NO!!! A little green and black but no blue.

I had a spare flip phone too. But I wore them both out. My new phone is an old one of my wife's.

              Inflationary Choices
              by Soapy
There is no doubt that prices are up, but even so, when buying something like a 30-31 stoplight switch it is probably better to buy the good one, rather than skimp on the cheap ones which are available. It's the things we really don't need that can be a waste of money. For example, I always fill my gas tank using a couple of really good 5 gallon safety cans. I have been wondering whether the two filler...

              Why is this hobby dying?
              by Corley
This post will most likely tick some of you off. Here is my premise: Old car clubs are loosing members as the old guys are croaking. There are not enough young people interested in the hobby to have it continue in the future years, and it will slowly die off, until the only place to see old cars is in museums. I will next attempt to blame all of us in this hobby for this problem.

Have you considered how lucky we are?
              by Corley
It seems like model A's just keep creeping out of the woodwork. Maybe it is just that we are in the hobby, so we are around a lot of them, but where are they all coming from? Consider that auto styling went through such major changes right after the model A was produced, with the rounded bodies, and streamlined looks of the '30 and '40s cars, not to speak of the major changes to styling in the '50s...

              Help me make a plan
              by AURktman
I’ve posted previously about my flathead V8 motors (that are collecting dust) but I will be venturing into the realm of Model A ownership hopefully before the end of the year. I am in the midst of finishing up my current long term project (15 years to be precise, 57 Chevy 4 door hardtop). I will drive it to the TriFive Nationals in August then put the “for sale” sign on it.

              Now...

              Graphening (waxing) your cars
              by Terry, NJ
Because I'm so concerned with my mileage, I'm waxing my van today in preparation for my trip to Colorado. Then I got to thinking, What am I leaving undone? How can I improve the results of my efforts ? I decided to look up waxing on the puter. Glad I did! I ran into an article by a guy named D. O'hara all about detailing. I don't know what he knows or doesn't know, but he presented a good view of...
