I'm on board with Tom and Chief on this !! I was in town today and an elderly lady(90's) came in to a store with cane in hand. She went up to a very young girl with her mother and said what nice pants the girl had on ??? The young girl turned away and her mother left the store at a fast pace. More of this to come I'm sure !! What ever happened to respecting your elders ? Gone !! Where do they come for hard worked money, when they have none of either ? Great day to all and a Merry Christmas from the Grants in Coldville !Model A's and of course the famous AA's

"A Reminder" post on the GSUSA website tells parents, "She doesn't owe anyone a hug. Not even at the holidays."
"Think of it this way, telling your child that she owes someone a hug either just because she hasn't seen this person in a while or because they gave her a gift can set the stage for her questioning whether she 'owes' another person any type of physical affection when they've bought her dinner or done something else seemingly nice for her later in life,"
Yup, you such so much as a parent then even a simple hug during the holidays will set her up for abuse!
