I have one of these Honda generators that I bought off ebay about 6 years ago. It came from a pawn shop in Oregon, and looks like new. I asked the guy to be sure to drain the oil before shipping, and he said he would. Well, he didn't, and during shipment it was upside down, so the oil ran to the top side of the piston. When I opened the box, I pulled the recoil slowly, just in case it was hydrolocked. I pulled the spark plug and then the recoil to flush out the oil. OK, this isn't my question, but just a warning in case you have one shipped without draining the oil. BTW, these are wonderful, smooth, quiet generators.
Now, 3 of these generators suddenly show up on ebay, all ending on the same day, and all by sellers with 0 or 1 feedback, and all with the same picture. They have the usual bids near $400 and end in the next 24 hours. I'll watch the feedback to see if these are good sellers, but how can a person know ahead of time?
