If my father were still alive, he would be 100 years old today. He got me started in model A Fords in 1960.

Coming Soon to a Town Near You, A New Scam
      by Tom Wesenberg
Usually the scams are easy to detect because they come from countries that don't know our language too well.
Now it starting to be homegrown. I just read this one on the Studebaker website.

"Hello, I got a phone call, the caller new my name and I liked 1951 starlight coupes He said someone from the east coast was going to buy his starlight and backed out but gave him my name...

Looking for transmission or rear end help?
      by tbirdtbird
The universally acknowledged guru of both is Tom Endy of California.
He has done countless trannies and rear ends. He has been generous enough to do stellar write-ups loaded with pix and they are on this website, the Santa Anitas As

Hey Mitch!!!! An addition to ponder....
"Culture during the Model A Era." for the Model A Forum that would include almost everything that also happened, worn, included, seen, heard during the Model A era??????? Members post old photos now, advertisements and newspaper articles.

Think about it, don't lose any more sleep than necessary. It wasn't my idea so if you do lose sleep

I found a catalog for this company tonight while rummaging through my bookshelf. It appears to be about 1974, though I can't find a date. But oh my stars! The prices! Almost consistently across their whole product line things cost about 1/10 (or less) what they do today.

Does anybody remember this business, or know what happened to them? Harold Looney was the proprietor. They were located...

      Memorial day parade photo
      by 2manycars
Here is a photo of the guy who was on the vererans float with me. It was his birthday, and he was 95 years old that day. He told me that exactly 75 years ago, also on his birthday, he got his draft notice for WW2.
You might notice that he looks better than me.
The other photo is my daughter and her dog, and me.
