If I drank AFTERBURNER, I'd be afraid to FART!
I "almost" lost it the other day, 2 National Guard jets, wing to wing, with Afterburners ON, blasted over us, just above the TREETOPS------NO----Couldn't get their LICENSE NUMBER:rolling

      Rubber fuel line
      by carolinamudwalker
Really good discussion on fuel filters & did not want to hijack it. Question, I have a rubber fuel line from the carb to the sediment bowl but with an inline fuel shut off wired to my ignition switch. On my 8 mile climb uphill my car acted like it was starving for fuel and would not run. I found bubbles in the top of the glass fuel bowl. Would the rubber fuel line absorb so much heat that the...

      I need a fuel line....
      by Mickey
Does anyone know where I can get a fuel line made. I have an indented firewall CCPU, stock A manifold bored out with a Model B carb. which has the fuel line entering from the front, not the side like stock As do. I believe the fitting at the carb. is different as well....

Well we made it but not without problems. Car did fine (except these damn brakes) until we hit this long, long, long, did I mention long uphill climb to Boon N.C. It was warm out. Car started missing and then quit. I could get it to restart but then it would quit when pulled out into traffic. I could see bubbles at the top of the glass fuel bowl. I opened the gas cap but made no difference....

New to me roadster quit on us tonight, carb question.
      by dmdeaton
Ok, this morning I took a 30 mile round trip to Ron's Machine Shop in Shandon, OH to show them the car. Stopped on the way home and filled up with 5 gallons. We jumped in tonight to take a short drive and less than a mile from the house it started sputtering and finally quit. Got it started with choke and it idled for a while then quit. Pushing on gas pedal it is starving for gas. I am pretty sure...

      Memorial day parade photo
      by 2manycars
Here is a photo of the guy who was on the vererans float with me. It was his birthday, and he was 95 years old that day. He told me that exactly 75 years ago, also on his birthday, he got his draft notice for WW2.
You might notice that he looks better than me.
The other photo is my daughter and her dog, and me.
