Years ago I saw a chart with pictures to identify the different rear spare tire carriers. I can't find anything now.
About 15 years ago I bought a rear spare mount for my cousin's 1930 Fordor, but he sold the car before I got the mount to him, so now I'd like to sell it to get my $35 back, but want to be sure it's the correct application first. I'll take a picture of it later, but we still should...-

What is the original coils maximum...-

by wrndlnI have the Standard Hardware booklet Mick Isbell wrote. It has a lot of useful information about fastener sizes and their correct finishes. However, I can't find any information concerning the finish of the bolts and washers that secure the rear spare tire bracket to the body. Maybe I missed it in the booklet, but I looked through it twice. The top bolt is installed from the inside, so its finish...

Who doesn't want a good rebuilt genny laying on the shelf or in your Model A as a spare? Derek from New Zealand over on the 'other' Antique Ford site tipped me off to a load of them at Bratton's. Derek bought 12 and took back home with him. Call Jeff up and ask for one or more, I just got off the phone with him. Super nice guy, he is boxing one up and sending it my way.
Jeff said that...-
