Is everyones time here still set an hour ahead ? Mother in law called it real time and hated to change it, kinda like my truck time now. I don't mind, I was just wondering is all. Pat

Sunshine here is a WHOLE LOT different than the sunshine in MN. In the winter here, it is far more intense than the same sun in MN and defies all logic.
You burn pretty quickly if not protected. I hate sunblock though as it always seems greasy and attracts dust - which we have a lot of since it has gone 80 days now without any measurable rain.

Haven't even had a FROST, yet. Leaves on my Wild Persimmon tree, outside my Office window are BARELY turning YELLOW. Grew it from SEEDS, sent by my Uncle, Henry, in Oklahoma I could write stories about him, he's 5 years Older & was always like my BIG BROTHER! He taught me WOODS/HUNTING skills, how to read & probably taught me things he shouldn't have--LOL
He raises Limouzine Beef Cattle, first brought here from France, in the 1500s. They bring prices almost as high as KOBE Beef! NO When you sit down to EAT, DON'T Bad Mouth Farmers!

I'm a farmers helper (occasionally) and respect them all a great deal. We eat well here, rib steak, home grown chickens, fresh pork, garden items, and etc. All raised and grown, by good folks, in a close circle around us. Pat's gotta go outside and rake corn stalks today. Bill,I will be wide awake when I hit that 28 degree air in a few minutes. Have a great day and enjoy your weather. Pat

Half the year I live in a small farming town and have the utmost respect for farmers.... We also are benefactors of locally raised produce and meat. You just can’t ask for nicer folks.....

Well, my time is always the right time since I don't own a watch, the few clocks that are around here for the most part change time all by themselves. The couple that don't auto change, I just leave alone since I know they are never right and just kinda use those for reference as to when it is sunny or dark.

I have 17 clocks ONLY 4 have the correct time. Cindy sez, "You have TOO MUCH time on your hands, WHUT duz she mean????? Two years ago, my Citizens' self charging watch lost its' STEM & I chucked it. When it DIED, in the DARK Winter, I could re-charge it under the Nightstand Lamp. NO I just bought Cindy a Voice Activated TRASH/RE-CYCLING can, cost me $230, see, I'm NOT CHEEP I once sent Purdy VHS tapes of "GRAPES OF WRATH" & "TOBACCO ROAD" GREAT Old Movies, look for them & you'll see how we used to live Gotta' go watch our Veterans' Day Parade that I recorded Saturday & see how MANY of our Model A Guys showed up.
