  • Happy Thanksgiving

I couldn't find my picture of the Model A Huckster loaded with fruit, so I had to use this Studebaker pickup from about 1950.

Beautiful and look at all the work it took to do that ! Tom, did Studebaker trucks ride like an International back then ? Looks like they still have some leave springs to go. Happy Thanksgiving to you and also to everyone here on VFF. pAAt

Back in 1977 when I worked at a Dodge/Pontiac dealership, we got a mint 1967 IH pickup traded in, and I could have bought it for $700. I was tempted, but didn't, and the guy that bought it had it all beat up within 6 months. Pretty sad to see that happen to nice survivor vehicles. I have some 1946 through 1952 Studebaker pickups, but have never driven them. I guess it's time to sell them.

Model A Parts Found at Studebaker Swap Meet
        by Tom Wesenberg
Two years ago at the Studebaker swap I found a nice 1928 flat screen Sparton horn. As I was carrying it to my car a guy with a German accent asked if it was for sale. I told him I'd just bought it, but if he was from Germany, I should have sold it to him, as they can't be easy to find over there.

This year I found a nice 1928 carb and a mint 1930 radiator cap. Must be a few guys that...

Happy Thanksgiving to all of VFF. We should remember all of our blessings today. My household has been blessed with patience to battle with cancer that my wife has.
Mitçh we all certainly appreciate all the work you put in to put this forum out on the web.
I pray the Lord will continue to bless our nation even as it seems to be try to come apart at the seams.
