    What the Heck Is Up With Ebay

    The other day I tried to bid on a guy's part, and ebay sent a message that the seller wasn't accepting bids from me. I never could figure out why.

    Now today I saw a nice metal tin for auto fuses and tried to enter a best offer, but got this message from ebay.

    "Unfortunately, this seller has decided that you are not permitted to place best offer on their listings. You may contact the seller via the Ask Seller Questions feature if you want additional details.

    Please note: You may not use other eBay accounts to place best offer on this seller's listings. Doing so may result in your indefinite suspension from eBay."

      It let me put an offer in for .99 plus i made a note for free shipping ..

        Auctions can restrict bidders with negative feedback, less than “x” number of purchases, live in a country the seller will not ship to, has retracted a bid, etc. You must fit some sort of profile that restricts your bidding privs.

          Nope. Never had a bad feedback or returned item. I just bought something this morning with no problem. Just can't figure out those other two ebay items not taking my bid. I just tried to leave an offer of $2.00 and a screen came up saying "BUYER REQUIREMENTS" with a blank red line. Makes no sense at all, and I've decided it isn't even worth the postage he wants.
