    What I'am getting for Christmas!
some good sight back! Cataract surgery for my eyes 12-8 and 12-22 yay! The repaired detached retina in my right eye is down to about 50%, double vision is bad with lane lines looking like guard rails, halos around all over head lights and oncoming head lights.
The lenses they will install will take care of far sightedness and astigmatism, will only need reading glasses. It's going to be a Merry Christmas here :-)

My mom had her cataracts fixed when she was 88, and I think it made her feel 30 years younger.
She was so full of life, until two years later when the doctor told her she had cancer, and only a few months to live.

Hey Big Hammer: How did the surgeries go?
For some of us that have never gone through something like this, it sounds scary. Are you able to put our minds at ease?
            Thanks in advance. Jeff

Last visit tomorrow with the surgeon, he had said may get some glasses then!
The last surgery was a duel surgery, cataract surgery was a piece of cake! the second surgery to remove crap out of the eye ball was ok, then they had to repair tears inside hurt like €£¥# ! Monday tomorrow hope is the last time to see a surgeon :-)

Thanks for the update info Mitch. Something I missed in my readings.
So according to what I read in the update, the new glasses are coming this week.
Does the forum get to help pick out the new frames? Lol.
              Hang in there. Jeff
