And that's wholesale? Almost as bad as Mercedes.
You wana look waaay far up da road and plan yer route because the brakes are far more of a suggestion than a command!

I can beat that! The owner of the dealership I work for bought a used Maserati. When it arrived the power convertible top would not work so he sent it to a St Louis Maserati dealer. They replaced the latch and the bill was 9072.00 thats not a typo, nine thousand seventy two dollars! It still did not work so they adjusted the latvh they had just installed for another 900. 00 dollars, What is wrong with people?

Holy crap Batman---------------- on both that Rover AND Art's Maserati story.

Ain't no car worth that coin for those repairs.

When I worked at the Ford dealership that also sold Lincoln-Mercury, and a Lincoln came in for service, we always used Ford parts when we could, the 'Lincoln' parts were twice as expensive and the same thing at least most of the mechanical parts were. And the customers got billed for Ford parts. They really appreciated that and it made a lot of return customers.

Example. A 1969 LTD part prefix was of course 'C9AZ' and a 1969 Lincoln part prefix for the same part was 'C9WY' (W for the Wixom plant where they were built) pop each part out of the box and usually they had the same engineering number, and were the same thing only priced different!!!
