    Possible Computer Virus

An hour ago I opened an attachment in an email from Larry B. At least it said it was from him, and the title read: "TRAIN SET- Click Above". The "Click Above" part didn't make any sense to me, and I shouldn't have opened it. Now I can't open or delete any emails because the bar showing it opening just keeps repeating.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks

I don't know of any. This is a used computer I bought on ebay about 4 years ago, and it was doing fine until this problem. I just tried it again, and Hotmail is back to normal, so maybe it was a fault with OUTLOOK.

Tom, I haven't had to install any virus software. It takes care of itself, like a conservative does

Tom, here's an old trick from an old fart, if you're not sure about any email, click on it's box and then click on 'block'. This will not delete the email but will ask you if you want to block this email. When that happens, you see the address from where this email was generated. That address will tell whether it's legit or not. If you just delete it, you won't see that address. Most all my spam comes into my junk box but sometimes it does come into my 'in' box and that is how I handle something that doesn't look kosher.

Once someone gets into your email addresses, they can come back and mentally rape you bigtime just by using someone's first name. I have friends names used but when another actual address is used, it automatically goes into my junk file. I know the name but not the address, that tells me a spammer got into a friends email system and then trying to get into mine also and everyone else's in their address file.

Hope this helps, if not, I'm afraid though your email might be locked up now.
