    What is your day job past or present?

    I own and operate an Automotive repair shop in NE Philly
    We have 4 techs incl'd me and 1 tow truck driver
    The shop is equipped to service and diagnose the latest things in automotive technology.

    Now its your turn

                Retired crude oil buyer/hauler also retired military army and air force 34 years combined active and reserve with2-3 wars thrown in for fun.

                  Presently for the past 30 years, facility maintenance- hvac, electrician, plumber, painter, furniture mover, jack of all trades :-)
                  Past aircraft mechanic( boring) the last 38 years at the same place, 6 different airlines :-(
                  Future,hopefully in two years,work only on A's or A parts and pieces

                      Almost, when planes land and the engines are thrown into reverse to slow the speed down, it creates a large amount of carbon to build up on the reverser plates. My uncle engineered a fluid that keeps those plates from being cleaned of that carbon build up as often. I was the contractor that got it into the US Air Force use on KC-135s as a start, went further to other models, I got it into the supply system for the US Navy use and into the Delta Airlines. It was already in use in the TWA system when I started.

                      I wrote something funny then I read farther :-( No I haven't heard about the fuild, but once had to clean them yuck

                      Did the fluid also help lubricate the muffler bearings??

                      I had a lot of job experences, auto mechanic, machinist, supervisor over machining and assembly, last job plant superintendent over a cylinder manufacting plant.

                          Was told numerous times during my life as I tried to do other things, don't quit my day job, so I haven't.............
