Monday is Memorial Day. Sarah is not decked out for a parade, but for a static display at a old time festival (remember, "Back to the 30s" "A Cavalry Troop 1st Sgt in Transit") but....it looks now the storms coming through here tomorrow and tomorrow night will make things a bit too muddy so Monday I'll drive up to the Quincy Veterans Home instead, 'my' future home BTW, it's to be a perfect day for a drive and I can't think of a better place to go. Straight shot North from my house along the Mississippi River Road. I planned all winter long for the Festival but....shite happens!!! But, there is also a Fall Festival.
I will set both flags in the village at half staff at 6 am, leave around 8 am. I have a fellow that will raise the flags to full staff at 12 noon.
