I literally did buy a church.........the United Methodist Church here, built in 1901 has closed down, been closed down for awhile now. Head preacher from Springfield approached me and ask if the village would be interested in it, if it could be of any good...you betcha it can be. I said how much, he said, one dollar $1.00. I said sold, I donated the dollar, the village now has one of the only three landmarks originally in the village and I'm going to heaven.....it's been a good week for me!!!!....almost!!!! -
The church I grew up in is now a museum, if this gives the town an idea.
They could name it Green Apples museum !!!!'
