  • GETTIN' OLD

Tom wrote about RIP-OFF Internet Repairmen, I can't find it again???
Anyhow, it's the SHITS when you get OLD & can't do what you used to do! In my neighborhood, I'm known as "BILLS'-LIST"--Recommending good RELIABLE "FIX-IT" People.
Can't BELIEVE I did that BIG Crown Moulding, in my Kitchen, with 13 MITERED CORNERS! Or the papered Bedroom, that I hung by MYSELF, while Pat was at work!
The "test" for a marriage, is to be able to hang wallpaper, TOGETHER, without KILLIN' each other---NLOL
Pats' Friends' Father had 1 arm off @ his elbow & was a PROFESSIONAL PAINTER/PAPER HANGER!

    Bill,

    1. "Getting Old" is nothing to complain about.

    2. "Being Old" is something to complain about ........... however ......... after achieving the goal of "Old", we are too "Old" to complain.

    3. I like the Bill W. that is like all of us ....... "Getting Old" ............ but not "Old" yet ...... because after we are "Old", we cannot complain.

    4. Bill, I hope this helps to give you a lift ................. I know ................ I don't think it helps me much either.

"THEY" say Old is just a state of MIND??? Tell that to my BODY, please. At least, I'm YOUNGER than Vermin, my EARLY '29 Avatar Coupe'---When My Home Help Gal helps me with my BATH, she sez, "You DON'T LOOK Old"--LOL---Whut duz she mean????

Bill, you seem young by your words and actions. Focus, focus, focus and ask the dog if your oldish. Besides you have some girl giving you a bath, sounds like I'm ready to be a bit older ;)

When she helps me with my bath, it's like in an Old Western Movie, she keeps her .45 handy!!

    Caster / Camber spec
    by Mitch
Does anyone have documentation in black and white stating what the caster / camber specs were when the A rolled off the assembly line. I know the numbers being floated out there today but i am looking for concrete proof of what the specs were back then. Even an old 30's style shop manual may show something
If someone has an old reference book can you post it up here with pics.
    Thanks...

This won't be easy to write but here we go.
I had a very sad phone call with dad BILL WILLIAMSON today. Yes it was sad but it was also enlightening. Enlightening because he is ready and mentally prepared to take the trip. He told me that he had a "good run". I ask for all of you to please pray for his safe passage to Model A heaven. He is so at peace and looking forward to seeing his...

Pat taught me to write in NUMBERED "BULLET" statements. It's EASY to go back & find the GOOD ones & EASY to discount the really DUMB ONES....
