Chief, glad to hear of your retirement and I hope you enjoy it as much as you can. Just remember, now you don't HAVE to do anything unless you want to.
So take a little time and relax a bit before jumping feet first into your next project. You wana look waaay far up da road and plan yer route because the brakes are far more of a suggestion than a command!

by BeaufordRusty's first 40 mile trip tomorrow to Field Days of the Past. The road has very few pull offs and has some pretty good curves. The speed limit is 45mph and we are leaving at 9am which means most work traffic is gone. I'm a little hesitant to go 45mph...I have a vision of the front end coming apart. LOL (really) I have checked everything and seems all good. Should I go 35 or 45?? I truly dont have...

by CurlyI went 480 miles in a day once. It was painful and torturous. I loved every second of it. I even changed my oil at a gravel roadside turnout. I started the oil draining before I even made my lunch sandwich. Last summer I was returning from a two day drive and I found myself so tired I could not keep my eyes open. I pulled off the road and slept in my truck (feet out the open window) for three...
