  • Model T Holley G carburetor Idler pickup tube

I'm rebuilding my holley g (1915 T)and find that the screw that holds the idler pickup tube in place appears to be striped - anyone have a source for this part? (if I try to remove it, it may not be replaceable) It is necessary to remove this tube to remove seat

Hey Warren, WELCOME to the VFF!!

It has been so long since I rebuilt one of those I honestly don't remember if you can clean that orifice out without removing that. I am sure someone else who has done that more recently will pipe up.

We need pictures of your car, not to help with the carburetor, but to give us our daily fix of the cars!
Whenever I pass someone who's texting and driving, I throw my beer at their window.

You"re right - need to introduce myself - got the 1915 at auction a couple weeks ago, side tracked by hurricane (near Richmond, Va), but liked it so much I bought another (both touring) last week - will post pics and history of restorations I've done after 1918 picked up (the twins) - looking forward to enjoying these guys, lots of challenges which we old guys need - thanks for the followup, back to the garage

Stan Howe rebuilds Holley G carburetors and may have the part you need.
