Looking for transmission or rear end help?
    by tbirdtbird
The universally acknowledged guru of both is Tom Endy of California.
He has done countless trannies and rear ends. He has been generous enough to do stellar write-ups loaded with pix and they are on this website, the Santa Anitas As

    Nickel plating headlight buckets
    by Bill G
Does anyone have the ability to nickel plate headlight buckets? Mine are in great physical shape with no dents, but they were painted black when I got them and I added a layer of black to that. I assume they started out as pickup buckets, but who knows.... Just wanting to see if they can be plated. '29 Twolite.

    Transmission swap
    by DaWizard
Mitch, I'm not sure where this should be placed, so I'm asking here.

I have been pondering a trans swap to a 5spd OD transmission and was wondering what the experts out in interweb land think.

I know I am going to need to pull the trans sooner or later and when I do, I want to get me a 5spd OD and install that instead putting the original back.

    I have been reading

    Little Carburator Help please.
    by DaWizard
While working over a Zenith carburetor today I stumbled across something that I have never seen in my lifetime of playing with these things. Maybe someone out here in interweb land has done this or known someone who did it to their own Zenith and can explain why this was done. Below you will see pictures as best my phone can take and I do hope it shows well what has been done to this Secondary We...

    Not 'A' , Hupmoble
    by Patrick
A Friend stopped by with one of his Hup's. This was his '28 roadster. He does beautiful work and this car is gorgeous. He calls it a big Model A. It'll run along just fine at 65-70, but, he drives it at 45. The car as he says is a product of its time and roads and thats the speed its designed to run. Did I mention this car is drop dead gorgeous. The car still has me all excited. He wants to 'restore'...

I found this guy some time back and just now thought to post up his video. He not only does some things wrong, he does most things with a bit of thinking right. Some very good watching to kill the time shut in.
