        Victoria Interior Information!

Some Victoria Interior (unfinished) pics. The pictures thru the door glass is to show the little rubber piece that attaches to the center of the window garnish and on the opposite side in the door as an anti rattle. I could only find them at Bob Drake and they were listed for 1932 But they were on the 31 Victoria and are mentioned in an article about window installation in a Victoria Association " Victoria Bustle" article.

This from LeBaron Bonney. Neat to watch about 14 minutes. You can see what is involved in installing a Roadster top.

              Tudor Rear Seat

              Original Thread

In 2014 our Model A club had a demonstration put on by Elizabeth of Classtique Upholstery, showing how to reupholster a Tudor rear seat.
Elizabeth sure does nice work, and makes it look easy. Too bad I didn't have a video camera for this job. Notice the nice frame Elizabeth made to compress the seat springs while doing the upholstery work. The last picture shows the bead on the rear of the seat, and when Elizabeth pulled on the bead center material, the entire bead fell into place nice and tight with a straight edge.

                29 Town Sedan

This nice original 1929 Town Sedan showed up at our annual swap and car show a couple years ago.
It sure is nice when people have enough sense to keep a nice original car original, instead of thinking they are improving it by restoring it.

Town sedans had that extra cording around the headliner. Here are a few photos of a 29 town sedan I had a few years ago. It was restored to a very high quality using the original interior as a guide.

Tudor Sedan #24981 Manufactured February 14, 1928. Original grey cloth early interior dropped in February 1928.

Photos show just about every exposure starting from left to right.

Here is a picture of the lace on a door panel from the Tudor interior kit Classtique made more than 20 years ago.
I bought the upholstery and wood kit from a hot rod owner that was going to customize his Tudor.

I installed my Victoria sunvisors today. Brackets are nickle plated, butler finish.
