Just thought I'd show the coach lace I had made. I might have done this already.

Jim in the picture on the right my windlace in the car is the same color as what is on the right, the one on the left looks nice.

If you look at the small triangle of material in the 'flat' picture you get a better idea of the non sunbleached original color. that part was folded over at the end.

I see that if you look at that color and the picture of the windlace I posted they appear to be close or to me they do.

Looks original to me. take off a trim piece to see the non faded color. Marge said that she has seen 2 deferent patterns of coach lace. recent Marc showed the other pattern in a fine point coupe, if I remember right.

This is from an original unrestored mid 1928 Tudor that's been in the same family since new. It belongs to a club member.

Looks like the upholstery in 28-29 was a little more elaborate or ornate.

Yes, I like the blue color and the lace at the top of the panels for 1928 Tudors.
The nice lace at the top of the panels was dropped for the 1929 cars.

My car interior is completely original with only a small wear spot on the rug at the foot rest area. It is a time capsule of how interiors were installed using strings and tacks.

Motor spins and runs with choke held out and then stalls ... gonna replace the carb and points as a start and then go piece by piece ... this car will be a local car show driver -- will...

All the drawings I have for the Tudor carpets has the color called out as brown. The original Tudor carpet shown is brown with grey.
The fine point Tudors with blue interiors have I've seen have grey carpet.

The next pic is a close up of brown german square weave carpet.

The final is the grey that is available available.

I am repainting my dispatch pocket for the 30 ccpu and had a question. On the inside bottom corner there is a nut attached. It looks original and not added, although I guess it could be rusted in place! Did something attach to it? It was pretty rough, but is cleaning up nice. I was a able to find a diagram that describes the exact mounting location. Mitch my search skills have improved a lot ...
