    drum tail lights

    Well we beat the instrument panel into submission.

    Interesting that you should have two of those in your collection Jim.

    As for dates, the left with script was only used until they ran out in Feb '28. The right was used from Mar '28 to Feb '29 when the Teacup design was brought into production.

    I believe that there are some commercial vehicles that had the drums into 1930, but those are far and few between. I believe they were used "off the shelf" as trucks were ordered and assembled.
    You wana look waaay far up da road and plan yer route because the brakes are far more of a suggestion than a command!

      There are at least 2 styles of Ford script cans,..not counting the Brass or Steel. It's the size of the Ford. I do have a small Ford steel can..
      I've had trouble with which came first on the "DUOLIGHT",...raised or depressed.
      Dates,..I'm not sure of..

      BTW,..did you buy the instrument panel ?

            Looking thru the Canadian section of the standards I spotted the reference to the inverted emboss. seems it a Canadian tail light
