This would be the place to brag about your fine point Model A and post some pictures of what makes a fine point car.

On Jim Mason's old website he had some wonderful pictures of a 1929 Tudor by Gary Karr. Maybe he can post them here for us?

Mot asked me to set him up a fine point photo area, so i have it all set up for him in a sticky here in the fine point section. We got a couple posted but still waiting for the rest.

My only problem is they are all High Res about 1.5 to 2 meg each and that would be an issue and the time for me to reduce them all would be insane.. What else can be done. I have them in categories, Top, Interior and Exterior Finish shots.

I use the program Mihov image resizer. You select all the photo you want then select the size and format, bmp, tif, jpg. etc and hit "run" all the prints keep the same name except they have "mini_" in front. The program is free.

Is there a score sheet available for the fine point judging that discloses the point allocations? It would be helpful to have this so I can pick my battles....

Do you want to see something spectacular.
Check out Gary's fine point photos from Dearborn, in our fine point picture thread. There are well over 400 photographs showing the wonderful details of this very early car.
Many thanks goes out to Gary Karr for sharing these pictures with the VFF.
The first shot was taken in front of Fairlane, Henry Ford Estate

                Sidebars
                by Mitch
I didn't want to hijack dmdeaton's build thread

I was recently asked about sidebars (slight modifications) being posted here on the VFF. There is a difference between performance up grades VS all out chops and hacks (it's really all common sense). Performance up grades have been around since the beginning of time. This was a huge issue that was never addressed on the and one of many...

So what is the consensuses on having a special area for ALL Burtz engine threads / questions? I mentioned this before but only received one response and that was today. If we did it there are two ways to go.
                1. A subforum under Model A like our Technical areas or a new category like we have for the Model A , Fine Point etc. If a new category I would probably put it right after the Fine Point...
