28-29 hood rod bracket

Here's one I don't know the answer to. when did the change ib this bracket occur? The reinforced bracket is early, what about the other one? I also believe there is a 3rd style in 29. part A16735 hood rod retainer. quite a number of drawing dates and EI listed on MAFFI. anybody know the answer or headed to the Benson? or am I completely confused?
