Ya know, I never knew there was a specific rest for a year/month, but the one on my 7-20-28 Tudor looks exactly like that. You wana look waaay far up da road and plan yer route because the brakes are far more of a suggestion than a command!

Will look at the JS tomorrow. Got up at 4:40 am and went to the Nebraska game and just got home 20 minutes ago. Going to be a long season, so best spent at work or in the shop. Four holes and round base used intil June of 28. Later was 3 holes and had a clipped edge. Rod"Much of the social history of the Western world, over the past three decades, has been a history of replacing what worked with what sounded good." Thomas Sowell

Well, since tomorrow I am pulling the floorboard to adjust the clutch and grease the TO bearing, and I want to remove the rest I will see which one mine is. I don't remember counting the number of screws, and I do have a pedal to install. You wana look waaay far up da road and plan yer route because the brakes are far more of a suggestion than a command!

Ok, took out the floor mat today and removed the floorboard, and my footrest is a 4 screwer, and the date of my car is 7-11-28 engine, and 7-20-28 Tank.
So, having no reason to doubt the validity of my parts, I am saying that a July '28 Tudor has the 4 screw footrest. If anyone needs pictures, speak now or forever hold yer peace as I am removing the rest tomorrow and installing a pedal. You wana look waaay far up da road and plan yer route because the brakes are far more of a suggestion than a command!

Well, here are the pictures of the footrest, but sadly there is no seal around the throttle hole. Just a hole.

I want to challenge everyone out there that has a running Model A to keep up with or surpass my mileage, either by the month or just by the year.
Here is a picture of my odometer last night, so my month/year starts today. Somewhere...You do not have permission to view this gallery.

by pAAtMy friend inherited a 30 pickup (??) from his neighbor who died this year. The owner pulled it apart and was going to put a 350 in it, but never got around to it. We'll be picking up the pieces, within the month, and I'll let you know what year and throw in some pictures too. It will be going back to stock and on the road this spring, knowing my friend. I'm excited about the heated shop and the...

by minutemantomI have checked the forum but can not find the answer.
What should the height of the foot rest be next to gas pedal ?
Were all Model A foot rest set the same height when they were built?
Thanks Tom-
