  • Photo Editing?

For those of you who edit your photos; What program do you use?
I don't have the bucks for Photoshop, or any of the others, and I find Microsoft Publisher to be too cumbersome.

What I mean is, basically, like adding text, arrows etc. to explain sections within photos.

I use picture publisher. It came with a scanner I bought about 20 years ago. I doublt if it is still available. I think photoshop bought a lot of the old programs and killed them to increase their sales.

Wow, I did not know preview had those features. They are hidden until the menu is enabled. Thanks for that.

I just use Microsoft Paint. I upload pictures from my camera to my laptop. I then select the picture. Right click. Open with Paint. Edit as desire. I personally resize the picture first. I then select other edit options as desired. Example attached.

          Pictures and computer scanning/transfering
          by Steve Plucker
I have a couple of photos I dug out of a book that depict the early 1928 2-Window Fordor Sedan.

I scaned these two photos into my photo album in hopes to use them in a document.

However they come out very grainy.

How can I scan these photos to get them to come out as the same quality as in the book to transfer into my document?

          Thanks.

Would like to use the best ones and create a timeline of progress along with narritive for others to see. Whats the best way to post these and is there a number limit of photos?...

          Original photo source

Does anyone recall the original sources, for these photos, because, when ever i want to zoom them, they won't? I even tried Google photo search with no success.

There is a photo of a bunch of people surrounding the new 1928 2-Window Fordor Sedan at one of the auto shows. I can not remember if Henry and Edsel are in it or not.

          Just where is that photo?

          Thanks.
