Public Service Announcement! If you purchase new seat springs and have the cushion fabric that uses the piping you stretch to go into the aluminum channel that you then must crimp. A) if you have arthritis you will not be able to do it. B) if you don't have arthritis you will after said cushion is done. Notice how tight the backrest is........had to heat it up in the sun to straighten out.

I have to do whatever time allows. I have base coat to do on aprons and hood. Still waiting on front fenders so I just do whatever until I can fit the fronts and adjust before painting them...so much to do and I need this done by October.

    Wiz,
As you've noticed, I know how to fix CARS, but am NOT a Computator whiz. I got Post-It notes all around my monitor, something NEW, EVERY day!---Even Post-It notes on my MIRROR, for BEFORE I have my COFFEE!

      Beuford,
I once mixed a color for a Model A, I called it, "REAL PALE PEAKED PASSIONATE PULSATING PURPLE" Metallic look was created with ALUJIMUM Paint!---It was created with about 7 BRANDS/TYPES of paint, BUT flowed on GOOD! I used Lacquer Thinner.

      1930 Coupe breaks
      by Btmo
Well I know this is an old topic but is there a thread here that I could find to help me fix my breaks all around? I thought about just sending my stuff in and get rebuilt replacement backing and all the stuff already done. But I would like to learn how to do it myself just because I like to learn. That is part of enjoyment along with driving it. If there is a thread or specific topic somewhere...

      First Aid kit
      by DaWizard
Since I don't know where to put this, here it goes and I'll let the PTB fit it where it should be.

How many of you carry a Fire Extinguisher?

How many carry a First Aid Kit?

How many of you know how to use either?

In the basic First Aid Kit you have the normal bandages and ointments and such, but how many have super glue?

      Now you are

      Roadster P/U seat
      by Beauford
Ok I have put my new seat in and there is no way on gods green earth I could drive this. I am 6' and 170lbs and the wheel is close to my stomach. I have read else where the backrest goes behind bottom cushion and under wooden rail lip, I have read it does not...anyone know? These are correct new springs from Snyders....
