Those ole gals just shout out "look at me". Some very proud ladies right there. In a way I wish I had grown up during that era. At that point in time this beauties were taken for granted. Today they are survivors.

        Thank you for the pictures.

Thanks guys....lights and horn work now so let the paper work for DMV begin. You rekon the State Man will know what hes looking at? I'll just show him the engine # and hopefully good to go.

Beauford, you have to have one of the greatest resurrection stories in the hobby.

Thanks, Ray but you can do anything with money. I was fortunate to have a slush fund for this project. I plan on never selling it and giving it to my boy when I'm gone. It has been a fun journey and still continues....it will be done before spring!!

Did you swap the tank out for a cleaner one?

Yeah, the previous tank was full of rust and even had holes in it that the previous owner tried patching. The patches were poorly done and were leaking terribly. I didn't even try to paint the tank the right color as this car will undergo a total restoration when funds, time and space allow. Until then, I'm just going to keep driving it. Logged 2,500 miles on this car last season, my grandpa and I put quite a few hundred on his other Model A's as well.

Saving the old calendar, Mitch. I don't know the body color as that is the paint that was on the car when I bought it. I just brought the paint back to life.
          Thanks Guys,
          Phil
