by dmaxwebDo the original scroll type window risers used on late 30 deluxe coupes have the bump on the tip of the knob? I know the original plain handles did not. The drawing of the scroll type in the JS ("M" in picture) looks like it has the bump. Perhaps it's just the drawing....

by dmaxwebI recently purchased a pair of these repro handles and they have a "ridge" down the back. Do the originals have this ridge? I cannot tell by the drawing in the JS. Someone has now told me that the originals did not have the ridge.

by SuperhartI have a cracked rear window and left quarter window in my 1930 Coupe that I want to replace. Never done it before. Looking to the readership for info, suggestions, etc. before I attempt the operation. If anyone has done this, I would appreciate input. Thanks.

by Tom BellfoyI know the Cabriolet has a roll up window in the doors, does the window have a structural frame around it ? in other words when you roll down the window does it look exactly like a roadster or does the window frame stick out ?
thanks-

Going to change the exterior door locks so I'm about to remove the door panel. How do you get the inside handles off? On the 1960's cars there is a clip you pull but not sure on a 47.

by richsfordsI tried to search but no luck,
I am sending my doors out for paint and want to remove the glass and cranks and such. Must the glass be forced from the track at the bottom? the felt tracks side need to come out at the same time?
thanks-
