You wana look waaay far up da road and plan yer route because the brakes are far more of a suggestion than a command!

Finding those doors in usable condition will set you back another $700-$800. Rod

I believe it to be an under and over drive.

Dual High is under and direct.

It has 29 wheels. 28 used 20 inch spoke wheels similar to car wheels but much heavier and with lock rings. My brother's doodlebug has 29 wheels on the rear and 28 wheels on the front.

That looks like a Denver Boot, but I don't see any way to lock it.

It is a neat piece, and I can see how the handle over centers to clamp around a tire, but I wonder what it was used for if it doesn't have a lock?

Maybe it's used as a wheel chock.

You know, it could have been used to break the bead loose.

Sorry guys, I got the deal of the day. A customer/friend who's family owned a Ford dealership in a small town by me has been telling me for years he was going to give me his Grandpa's truck. This was in my driveway when I got home last night.

Free is a good start. The next best thing is them paying you to take it.

Is it a 45? Just guessing looking at the color of the grille and door handles.

I drove one of those many years ago. It had a flathead 6 and worked hard to pull an empty trailer

          Just testing you guys.

I sure envy you guys that live in a nice area where people drop off nice pickups for free.

You can put that bead breaker between the beads of a tire and pull the handle the other way,it will hold the tire open to put a patch on the inside of the tire casing.I read that in the instructions for that tool.I don't think it works as well for that,it is in the way and keeps slipping out.Two open end wrenches wedged between the beads work much better. What it is really good for is if you have some old tires glued to the rims with age.You squeeze that tool on,and pour fuel, kero, whatever you like in the crack and let it work.Mine is made by a different manufacturer,so it is a little different, but the same basic design.

It is a 46, Everything here was covered with ice this morning when I left for work so I still did not get a good look at it. Of course my red headed stepson says he was in it last night and has made claim to it.

One of the Ford dealers out here had one similar to yours that had no chrome, stainless or anything like that at a car show a couple years ago. They called it a blackout because there was a shortage of those metals from the war. I have a Dodge thats a blackout.

I did look under the hood this morning before leaving for work. It was only raining, not freezing rain.
