My wife and I took a ride today just to get out and about. I noticed these three vehicles sitting in a parking lot so I took some pictures. The business was closed and the owners weren't around, so I had to check them out. Wife had to get in the photo also. Hope you enjoy them. Hugh

Wish I could take my CCPU for a ride, but the roads here in NY are just covered with sand and salt. I envy you Florida and Southern California owners.

Took mine out for b'fast this morning. She performed very well so I filled up the tank, now she is happy..png "smile")

This is getting sickening. We're still in 0 to 20 degree temps and the roads are white with salt slush.
If it doesn't snow for a few days, then the roads are white with solid salt.
Last night the TV weather showed the whole eastern and southern US was going to be in the 70's.
There's no way we can drive good cars for at least 6 months of the year.Comment

My 1930 Model A Coupe returned home today after being at my mechanic for the last 6-months. He has done alot of work getting it mechanicaly running good. Now it will be my turn to deal with everything else that is wrong with the car. With my business, this will also be a slow process, but I plan to do little at a time. I am in Florida, so I have to communicate through my brother who is getting things done for me there. Today I was told my mechanic got the loaner engine put into my Model A. The young (about six years old) man and his mother quickly accepted an invitation to take a closer look at Eleanor. He was very knowledgeable despite his youth and had some really good questions. Well, today was the 63rd Horseless Carriage Club of So. Cal's annual Holiday Motor Excursion, and after attending last years, I and 5 other Model A'ers ventured out of the comfort zone and took the trip to Pasadena.

Well my 1930 Model A has been at my mechanics place for a few months and since he can only work on it maybe one day a week, because he has another job and other obligations, it is going slow. He installed a better gas tank and while removing the fuel bulb, we found out is was held in, not by metal but bondo painted about 4 inches across. Well I finally took time to go into my man cave and work on my Model A. When I drove it into the building it overheated. Today I found out why. When I took the hose off the upper radiator nozzle I found black electical tape stuffed in it. I dug it out, see photo. I guess my mechanic or his son put alot of tape around the radiator neck because they bought a hose that was too large. What do you think?...You do not have permission to view this gallery.
