In looking at the schedule I see there is no meeting in the schedule for the grand tour, I thought in the past there has been one, am I missing something? Or did I just think they had one.

This is random, but I don't know who to contact. I was just wondering if anyone has heard of if there will be another high country tour in the near future? We went to the one in 2009 and it was by far the best tour we've ever been on. We have wanted another one ever since.
We went to the MAFCA National in 2016 which was great- but it wasn't the same thing.

I just got back from the gamari tour in Iowa each year they pack a suitcase and drive to a different place each year starting out in Desmoines Iowa this is put on by the central iowa model a club and lasts ten days. Happy to say my car ran like a champ it was hot and windy 95, went to fonda iowa very nice little museum here had lunch in the community center and drove to emmittsburg for the night....You do not have permission to view this gallery.

Tours are my favorite both national and regional. I have been to one national MARC event saw a lot of cars but not really any organized touring all on your own, met a lot of really nice people and saw some beautiful cars as well.
This year i am going to go to a MAFCA tour in Texas this will be my first so it should be interesting for sure.

The Mountain Region has really enjoyed driving the tours that will be offered on the 2018 National Tour. One of the best ways to view the beautiful fall foliage in West Virginia is on a train ride deep into the mountains. The "Mountain Memories" Tour will offer two distinctly different train tours, representing two different eras and totally different scenery.
