I’m gonna send the body to Brent for dinging the dents out and painting, and the engine to Herm, if I can find it (pretty sure it’s in there somewhere). It’s all original and pretty complete, so I won’t need much from Bert’s (sorry Steve).Last edited by Ray Horton; 01-29-2018, 11:41 PM.

Ya know, I'm wonderin just how yer gona reattach that whitewall to that left front tire. Looks like it has lost the vulcanization. You wana look waaay far up da road and plan yer route because the brakes are far more of a suggestion than a command!

Looks like you can save the left front shock. Rod"Much of the social history of the Western world, over the past three decades, has been a history of replacing what worked with what sounded good." Thomas Sowell

I really like the way the fan divided that radiator straight down the middle. I can say for a fact that that was not hit by a train, I have been on the train while hitting a car, and believe me, there were a LOT less straight panels left after we hit the car.You wana look waaay far up da road and plan yer route because the brakes are far more of a suggestion than a command!

Besides the wrong wheels and non original upholstery, how come the headlight glass isn't broken?

by MitchLong story short, Steve looked long and hard for an original car. He found this 1928 60A, 13,960 miles but never got around to getting much done. They did recently have it running and will try again soon after hanging an aux fuel supply and hot wiring the ignition. The wiring is suspect and the tank needs cleaning, so Dave is leary of starting it up using the existing original wiring and fuel source....

Since I have been boasting about my 12v neg system I was told I needed to do a pictorial and text of how and what I did to get my "Alternator in a Can" or "How to fool the judges and still run 12v". So, you asked for it, and yes,...-

by poochNot sure what the back of this ute is.
Not a Geelong ute.
Probably a one off farmer's build.
Canadian deluxe folding stanchions for a 28/29.
A feral 34 or 33 (I don't know the difference) chopped ute.
Dunno what body style it started life as, but it looked a treat driving in.
The driver...-

by poochNot much early ford stuff at Cessnock swap last weekend.
A reasonably good (for over here) T tudor body for $2200 AUD.
Just a few Model A wheels and various small bits, nothing too exciting.
Was an older restored 53 chev 4 door sedan on full rego for $13K, if you like that brand. if it was a 53 Ford in the same conditon, they would have been asking $50K.

by Bill GYesterday, being Thanksgiving in the US, I sort of got a little carried away with feeling thankful for just about everything. Health being one of them. A dear friend of ours is in rehab after suffering a heart attack, and I feel rather lucky, even with the aches and pains that go along with getting older.
Two and a half years ago I bought a Model A. It is something my wife and I have...-

by MontanaRedNeed some opinions, Took my carb off today and this is what I found under the bowl, bowl doesn't have any holes in it and all the valves seem in good working order but that rust corrosion is pretty bad, also there is a small hole at 11oclock on the first picture it appears to be a machined hole, is it suppose to be there? Float has some dents in it also. Soaking it in evapo-rust overnight now. So...You do not have permission to view this gallery.

by AURktmanWell, I wanted to start a thread on a trio of flatheads I bought a bit over a year ago (Nov 2019). A local car enthusiast was divesting himself of a large amount of his collection due to some health issues and he offered them to me for a price I couldn’t refuse, the price was so low I said yes before he even finished his sentence. Depending on the length of the process on each engine and how many...
