My front fender overlaps the apron a little and does it on both sides. I assume it just needs to butt up. My rear apron bolt is in the only farthest hole so I would assume there as back as they go. Any suggestions?

This concerns the Front Fender Wells, A-16040, that were assembled to the 1928-1929 front fenders.
Here is what I need to know:
It must be an original assembled fender well and not one that was "welded" on later.
1..Is fender to frame flange a 7", 5-3/4" or 3-1/8" fender at the rear of the fender at the lower cowl section?;

by lalkieI am in the process of putting a well in the LF of my 29 pickup. Could someone give me some measurements from where the running board bolts to the fender to where it begins on the fender and from where the fender bolts to the running board to the top of the fender where the well ends. Also the distance from the of the left edge of the fender to the left edge of the well. I haven't been able to...

by DennisI need details on the welt between the fenders and splash aprons. Did the welt continue on as the same piece from the fender to bed and then to fender to splash apron? What about between fender and running board, did they install welt there?

by merjohnThis is a left rear fender that came with the 31 Huckster. It was not attached but the bolt holes match up with the original running board and with the original metal that covered the side of the truck. This could be repaired but the passenger rear fender is a mess. It looks like it was made from two different fenders and neither one of them matches this fender. It has a weld down the center and...You do not have permission to view this gallery.

by JohnB15632I am sanding my fenders in preparation for painting. I am working on the right rear fender. The fender, as I have it has to "folds" In it that appears to be to be original. They do not look to be to be damaged.
Post is deleted. I got my answer. The fender is accurate as shown.

by merjohnIs it common for the new 1930/31 repo front fender flange that bolts to the running board to be 1/4 narrower than the running board flange. We have used repo front fenders and both of them are the same. The fenders do measure 1/4 narrower at the mounting flange than the unusable originals that we have. The running boards are new and they measure the same as the originals. The aprons fit into the...

by BeaufordOk, so this is a Brookville bed with repo rear fenders. The brookville bed does not have mounting studs for rear fenders but a cleaver pass through behind a lip for a bolt. My driver side rear fits perfect. The passenger side does not line up. I lifted the body to slide apron out a touch as it needed that anyway. I measured the fronts of the aprons to the edges of the front brackets and both are the...You do not have permission to view this gallery.
