Hopefully by mid January the schedule of events are somewhat nailed down. Have to have my vacation approved by Feb. 1st. Likely will only be able to attend for 2 days and spend another day doing and seeing other things in Branson. Rod

Went through Great Bend in mid April on our way to Tx. Made a jog East to stop in Russell where my wife grew up. She has no family living there now, but visitted her Grandma's grave and drove by the house she lived in. That added afew hours on to the trip, so was pushing the speed limit most of the rest of the day. Even at that made it as far as Woodward, Ok. by the end of the day. Any way planning on going and possibly staying in my parents time share in Branson for the week instead of the Hotel where others are likely staying. May see if a friend wants to go also and make use of the hide-a-bed and cut down on overall costs. Rod

And if you want to buy some Goodyear tires for your Model A, Kelsy Tire is in Camdenton, not far from Branson. I'm sure they will set up at the meet and bring tires there for you if you wish.

              Hey Jeff, WELCOME to VFF.

Sweet avatar, is that a TR5, or an SW10? I need to see the front windows to decide. Brings back memories of my first years as a switchman/footboard yardmaster in the east LA yard. Of course UP modified all 75 of theirs to SW1200s. Love the winter window, can't have that hoghead freezin his runny nose Whew, those were the days...
You wana look waaay far up da road and plan yer route because the brakes are far more of a suggestion than a command!

Here is one store I'm sure everyone will be checking out.
And, across the street on the corner is an ice cream shop with a terrific Elvis impersonator. In fact he told me he is related to Elvis.

I'm going to take Jeff's suggestion and buy some Goodyears from Kelsey tire at the meet. Not only will i save shipping but i can have Jim Brand paint the flags at the same time. A win win if you ask me.
