Good Posting....this sent me on a new search here. Found it under the "THIS AND THAT" heading. Scroll down to the "articles" heading and wa-la. There it is! An area of this forum still undiscovered by me. Not for long though.
The searches continue, pack me a lunch, I'm off to do more exploring.
Jeff.
Picture me as Julie Andrews from the Sound of Music. Standing on the mountain top, arms out stretched, twirling in the breeze. The air is fresh here..

by MitchI thought it would be nice to put together a library of factory videos in the Articles forum. I pulled some of these from U-Tube and the VFF but there are plenty more out there. If you know of anymore and care to submit them, just post the video link in the comment area of that thread, or reply to this thread. These can cover T's, A's and early V-8 cars.
Here is the direct link to the page,...-

Nothing new, most of you have seen this before, but it is still fun to watch! Ford was good about documenting and filming their operations we're glad today that they did.
That guy on the main line connecting the engine to the drivetrain must have been the Main Man he appears in still photos a lot too.

by Art EbelingI finally have all my fenders painted so it’s time to assemble them and the running boards, lights, horn etc. imagine doing this as the car is moving on an assembly line. Maybe I could have a couple buddies pull it thru the polebarn while I put it together....You do not have permission to view this gallery.

Has anyone ever noticed on the Model T BODY floor cross sill (front) any type of letter and numbers representing assembly plant codes?
For instance SFA 0927 for San Francisco Assembly plant or AS 12345 for Seattle Assembly plant.
These codes are on a majority of Model A's...was wondering about the Model T's.
Thanks. Pluck-

Does anyone have a photo of the Mexico City Assembly Plant (Before 1928) that assembled the Model T Ford?
Would any photos of assembly plants be in the Model T era books of Ford Industries?
If so, please email me at [email protected]
Thanks.
