The seller in this auction is one of the most well respected in the hobby. A young fellow who knows his stuff, he has sold over 9,000 items on eBay in the last year and only received 2 questionable negative feedback. Many of his auctions (including this one) he starts at a $0.01 opening bid with no reserve. A couple of years ago, in this fashion, he listed a rare Accessory Early V8 locking Gas Cap which garnered a final bid of over $2000 (from one of his repeat buyers). I don't think there's any doubting that his listings are legit and the buyer sets the price.Last edited by Randy in ca; 01-16-2018, 02:25 AM.

By now you'd think any hidden stash of NOS Model A parts would have been discovered and sold, but this claims these are NOS and look how many he has sold.

by jordanka16So, I intend for my car to last at least as long as me, to that end I have been thinking about extra parts to keep on hand. I know from reading that certain NOS parts are much better than any new ones, points for example. Are there any other NOS parts that it would be worth searching ebay for just to have on hand, parts that the repros do a poor job of replicating?

by dmaxwebAre there different manufacturers of the Kingpins and locking wedge bolts sold by the vendors? If so, do they vary in quality and precision?
How available are NOS Kingpins?-

by plyforFor some cars (model A's and other makes) dome lights, tail light lenses, hood badges, window crank knobs, etc. are not being reproduced. A good method if one can borrow or find an original is to use that as a pattern and pour a silicon mold followed by casting resin. The mold is reusable. The materials can be found at art stores with tints available for the resin. We've made knobs and tail light...

by BudPMany times I have purchased Model A items on EBay. Generally, I only purchase if I need the item, the price is reasonable, and the description (pictures and narrative) gives me some assurance of the quality. Last night I was a seller, listing Model A side curtains (appeared to have never been used) from my stash and new side curtain rods (original style, unopened packaging) for $475 including shipping....
