If your lucky enough to be married and have a package or two coming, by the delivery service of your choice, you better go shopping with Darling Lover Poo. Shower her with trinkets and compliments till the packages get there. It's like emery cloth and oil on rust ! The damage is already done and your just hoping for a smooth squeak free transition. Wish me luck and a good Friday too you all, Pat

I hate shopping, i just leave her money to go do it on her own. This kills two birds with one stone( you have your parts and one can work on the A in peace and quiet):
3~ Tudor's & 1~ Coupe

My wife is a quilter. I don't ask about the endless stream of packages from Missouri Quiltworks, and she gives me no hassle when the occasional package from Snyder's arrives.Alaskan A's

I need a different chemical combination, I'm getting a little soft and rusty at figuring things out. The Fedex truck showed up a half hour before we left !! I had time to open my packages, in front of her, and then we went shopping. I like Mitch's way better, but this way worked in a pinch

by NabcoSo I’ve said this before when my father-in-law gave me Sister a few years ago my mechanical ability with cars was adding washer fluid. Now I have learned a little, actually put a new carburetor on her a couple years ago, fiddled with the headlight switch and got them working again (still have no idea what I did to fix it) and a few other minor things.
I will freely admit that normal...-

Liz Kitzul has won an appeal to keep her grandfather's 1928 Model A Ford in her backyard.

by copgibWell I haven't mentioned lately on what I have been doing to my 1930 Model A Coupe. Well, like others, extra bills that needed paying has slowed me down. I did find a mechanic locally that just happens to live down the road from me. So with his help I have the car rewired and we are in the middle of installing the mechanical brakes. My mechanic found most of the parts I needed and what we don't have...

He & his Wife have driven it THOUSANDS & THOUSANDS of MILES! Once they were 80 or so miles from home & his Wife was SO HOT, she called her Daughter to come take her BACK HOME!----Then John added A/C & designed & built SPECIAL side curtains,...-

by Grit KidSarah is running now like she's never before.
So much more power.
Before she took hills but not like she's doing now. I accelerate at the bottom of a steep hill and she takes off. I have to watch my speedo to hold her back. She staying cool even in this heat I have and...……..she hasn't used a thimble of coolant and no foam/froth/bubbles.
I might get to enjoy her now and...

by Grit KidSarah runs w/o engines pans now but to protect her from unwanted objects entering her through the carb, I put on a Hi-Boy this morning. She runs with Zeny. She didn't put up much a fuss as I put it on her and afterwards we took a drive. More silent now from hearing the sucking noise coming from Zeny. We drove out the usual mileage, she ran fine, no spits or spats. Got back home and took a look under...
