Would someone pls post a pic of an inverted firewall. I an not sure if indented means for the V8 or fuel system.What yrs did the indented firewall show itself?

Ed, I don't know about an "inverted firewall", but the indented firewall was late '31 only. I believe the start date for those was May or June '31.You wana look waaay far up da road and plan yer route because the brakes are far more of a suggestion than a command! -

Good evening. Some of the questions on another topic have got me thinking. Were the indented firewall Model A’s made in all the assembly plants, or only in some for specific markets where the laws required removing the fuel line from the passenger compartment. I'm really glad you guys convinced me to attempt the repair rather than attempt to replace the firewall. It wasn't that hard but it isn't quite as good as it looks either. But I plan to insulate it on the inside so no one will see it.
P.S I now have a perfectly good indented firewall coming out of blasting and being primered for the guy that really has to replace one.You do not have permission to view this gallery.
