-11, OMG that is beyond cruel.
Let me be the first to extend to you a warm welcome to the great state of Texas. You will love the weather and there are many clubs in this state and tons of Model A activities. In fact the Dallas club has so many tours some of our 400 members actually also belong to other clubs, including a few from OK, just so they can be part of our tours.

And the job opportunities are endless. Toyota just moved their offices from CA to Dallas/Plano (haha wonder why) and the place is like a city unto itself. A zillion jobs there alone.

More than a million people move to Texas every decade; mostly escapees from the north. No income tax, either!

A rumble coupe or a sedan, preferably a tudor is what I am looking for. I am on a budget and cannot consider a high point car. A 20 foot, driver is what I envision. Less than 10K. Want something I can drive and tinker with at the same time. Just a plain old stocker, no modern "upgrades", if possible

Wife & I are in -12*F in "Old" Quebec City, Canada this week since December 23 for Christmas. All it takes is proper winter clothing, a minor change in attitude, & just get out to join the tourists.

We drove here for our honeymoon years ago in the fall, & returned by plane subsequently quite often, sometimes with our children and grandchildren.

Quite a few waitresses and bar tenders here recognize us as soon as we walk in and smile to greet us.

For New Years, just wishing we all may continue to try to think young in 2018 ..... maintain our health, and continue to enjoy maintaining our Model A's.

Thanks. Also to Mr. BNCHIEF, the former sincere owner of my 1930 Briggs wood bodied Town sedan told me prior to this car being stored indoors for 30 years, the original owner he was told was a widow from an arid region in Kansas who never left this car parked out of doors.

FWIW: Never a good idea to buy any wood bodied Model A known to have been parked out of doors in a humid area for any length of time ..... because of side windows possibly leaking, appears wood framed doors would easily rot quickly ..... possible roof leak, appears entire wood body below roof leak is at risk.

I'll have to check the want ads in our club, as I think there is at least one Tudor in your budget.
