    Model A Lamp
    by Mikey
OK, I know this is not what this forum is for but I finished the lamp for my father in laws 88 birthday coming up in two week and I wanted to share it with you. Haha that's what he gets for saying I could take whatever I want from the garage. With a couple of new parts, its a 29 dash from his dads Model A, I took the time to take the speedometer apart and set the odometer to his my father in laws...

How to reproduce dome lights, lenses, etc.
    by plyfor
For some cars (model A's and other makes) dome lights, tail light lenses, hood badges, window crank knobs, etc. are not being reproduced. A good method if one can borrow or find an original is to use that as a pattern and pour a silicon mold followed by casting resin. The mold is reusable. The materials can be found at art stores with tints available for the resin. We've made knobs and tail light...

    LED lights
    by DaWizard
Since most of you know I have LED headlights, and I thought I posted that the rear were LED also, I find that some info was missing. So here it continues.

The tail lights are the regular tail and stop TeaCup tail light replacement LEDs cut down to fit the Drum tail light, so I at least kept it original to my mid'28 with the Drum buckets.

As I posted in the Kelsey Hayes thread

Have you ever been stopped by a cop?
    by Ray Horton
Beauford's post about his two mile drive for a Coke got me thinking about the times I've been stopped by a cop while I was driving my A. It might be entertaining, if not informative, to share some stories. One of my memorable stops was coming home about 9:00 pm on a dark country road with my 3-month old daughter asleep in the back seat (no carrier, it was 1970). First the county deputy wanted to tell...

    Totally disillusioned
    by carolinamudwalker
I watched an old show from the history channel called 'THE CARS THAT MADE AMERICA GREAT' I am totally disillusioned. Henry did not build the model A. He fought it until the day he became demented. He built the model "T" and the assembly line. He would not listen to his son and drove Ford motor company to near bankruptcy. I hear " Keep the car as henry built it" all the...

    Winker question
    by Standing Elk
My turn signals blink very fast and really dim. The control box grounds straight to the steering column so initially I thought there might be a ground issue. I ran a ground wire straight from the battery to the control on the steering column and it made no difference. This tells me there should be no grounding issue. Brake lights and tail lights are all as bright as they should be. I am wondering...

    Blinker relay 6 volt ??
    by Standing Elk
Got a question on a blinker relay. I have been looking high and low for a "heavy duty" 6 volt blinker relay for my 30 coupe. Mine is currently two prong and all I have been able to find are a "few" light duty ones that state they are only good for 2-3 bulbs, not 4. I need a heave duty relay that will work on 4 bulbs. I did find a 3 prong relay that should be heavy enough but am...
