It’s a two step process, there’s a black paint you apply first then the chrome over the paint....it’s not cheap, $199 to cover 20 square feet, but compared to actual,chrome that’s not bad.....the company that makes it is Alsa, could not find any reviews on the Brush On Easy Chrome but their other products seem pretty good

That is actually not the same product, according to the Alsa website the Easy Chrome is a new product, I may give it a try, it wouldn’t be the first time I’ve flushed 200 bucks.
So POR-15 paint and foam brushes are a no go. Seems the por 15 gets soaked in the brush then attacks the glue holding the plastic support to the foam rendering it useless within minutes. Then the foam swells pretty bad and its like trying to paint with a hot marshmallow. My 1" wide foam brush is now 1.5" wide and growing.
Thankfully when the foam came off the handle it fell...

Ford painted the back sides of the bumpers near the ends, where plating didn't take well, with a silver paint. I used Rustoleum Chrome paint on the insides of my Studebaker bumper guards, and it looks nice. I just got another tip for some paint you might want to try.
